Laforet is part of Municipality of Vresse-sur-Semois (Province of Namur) in Ardennes. In former times this area was famous for the tobacco fields. Laforêt lies on of the Semois river.
The village is very small with only two parallel streets but this is one of the most beautiful rural spots in Wallonia with its beautiful mountain landscape, picterous banks of the Semois, rich forest and green fields.
You can discover here a few historic buildings like a church from 1779 with a ceiling painted by Londot, old pigsties and several old houses.
