The castle of Rosendael is situated near Arnhem. It is one of the most beautiful historical places in the Netherlands where the king of the Netherlands liked to hunt long time ago. Park around the castle has many attractions: ponds, fountains, small waterfalls, statues and old trees. Seventy species of trees and shrubs and a large number of different herbs grow there. Two trees are really impressive: so called the tree of life (Thuja plicata) and a conifer (Calocedrus decurrens). In the castle there is a very special collection of furniture, silver and porcelain.
